I'm writing this 3 years after Carried helped me find my first home, and one year after I got married and had to quickly sell my home. My 3 day old daughter sits in my lap. She was always flexible and prudently called me back. And when I asked for honest but hard advice, she was right. Carrie and Kristin have deep and broad knowledge about the North and South East Portland neighborhoods. They are fully trustworthy and they come with a cadre of references and a network to answer all the questions and housing needs that came up, from plumbing to loans.
There are some that are critical of housing agents for being siphons or leeches on families and inflating the market, I would counter that witnessing Carrie and Kristin's work has proven to me that I would treat the asset of my home any other way or with anyone less qualified. The stability of Portland in the myth of a free market elsewhere holds that trust even more.
One is always reluctant to trust anyone with your future or funds. I met Carrie through a friend and that put me a little more on guard than a would be stranger. But in a very short time, and again in the long run, I found her to be an amazing agent.

"It was delightful working with Carrie to purchase my first home, located in southwest Portland. I was lucky enough to get to buy the house I was renting, which was an older home requiring some significant repairs. Carrie helped my younger na?ve self get through a very foreign and strange process, about which I was very ignorant and not quite prepared. To top if off, she found a great realtor for me in my new town, so I was well taken care of on both sides of a major move to a new city.
